EU has released 30 January 2019, the 2017 report regarding

• the Contingent Liabilities,  off balance PPPs that realize if certain conditions prevail and
• the Non Performing Loans, and relates to those that imply loss if not repaid.

The following EU countries have significant government guarantees in 2017

• Finland 32%                                                      
• Austria 15,8%
• Germany 13,3%
• Luxembourg, 12,2%

The EU countries with the largest contingent liabilities in 2017

• Slovakia, 2,9% of GDP           
• Portugal, 2,7% of GDP
• Hungary, 1,5% of GDP
• United Kingdom, 1,4% of GDP

The EU countries with the largest Non Performing Loans controlled by financial institutions in 2017

• Greece, 119.6% of GDP        
• Netherlands, 102.7% of GDP
• Germany, 91.7% of GDP
• Cyprus, 74.8% of GDP

The EU countries with the largest Non Performing Loans controlled by government in 2017

• Slovenia, 4% of GDP
• Portugal, 1,3% of GDP
• Czechia, 1,1% of GDP
• Ireland,  0,8% of GDP
